Engaging School Glass Art Workshops: Fused Glass Creativity for All Ages

Our school workshops in fused art glass offer unique, engaging experiences for students across all grade levels. Whether you're looking for holiday-themed projects, artists-in-residency programs, story bead creation, or simply exploring the beauty of fused glass, we have something special designed just for your classroom.

Discover a hands-on adventure that introduces students to working with sheet glass, frits, stringers, iridescent and more. Embrace individual creativity as each student's project becomes a stunning piece of art.

Basic school workshops are priced at $14.50 per participant GST included. When booking three or more classes on the same day for your school, we offer an exclusive discount of $13.50 per student GST included with a minimum of 15 students per class session.

New this season:

Mothers Day Flower Garden

For Kindergarten and Division 1 students:

Create unique flower hangers using cut glass, crushed glass, and stringers to showcase their artistic skills.

Butterfly Hanger

Suitable for all grades:

This popular workshop has been a favorite among our students from kindergarten through grade 12. The design concept adapts with each student's age and skill level, allowing them full freedom in expression.

We offer an optional Tangram butterfly creation for Division 2 students to add an extra layer of complexity.

Rnbow Fish

For Kindergarten and Grade 1:

Inspired by the classic book The Rnbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. Each student builds their own rnbow fish using colored glass, stringer pieces, and frits. We are honored to present this workshop with permission from the author.

Each child creates a beautiful hanger that reflects their unique interpretation of the story.

Zen Doodle Art

For all ages:

This innovative class invites students to explore inspired by zen doodling. It focuses on color, pattern, and repetition to express emotions or ideas in abstract art.

Every student will create an original design that showcases their individual style.

Bugs Magnets

For Kindergarten and Division 1:

Spring into creativity with this playful workshop! Students invent bugs from their imagination using colored glass and bring them to life with detls of stringers and frits. Each child makes three delightful bugs.

Designer Jewelry Workshop

For Division 2, Jr., and Sr. High:

This advanced session delves into the six elements of design: line, shape, color, texture, value, and space. Students will sp time developing their designs while experimenting with layers to bring their final pieces to life.

We incorporate reactive glass and specialty glass options for a truly unique experience.
